New Business Cards and Other Goodies
I’m so excited about a shipment I just received! I just got in my new business cards and other goodies! The business cards feature a polaroid-photo style information side, and assorted images showing off some of my most recent works on the reverse side.
Business in the Front
All my information (aside from social media accounts, because they’re linked from my website itself) is included to make it easier for clients to contact me! I began with cute pink stripes, following my very feminine and delicate style. I want to relate the style of my business cards to the type of work I tend to complete.
But it just felt too simple, so I wanted to add a fun element to it. Then I got the great idea to make it into a polaroid! What is more fun and reflective of a photographer anyway?! So I ended up going with square cards and making polaroid photos!
Party in the Back
Just like a mullet, I wanted to add the fun to the back: my photos. Since I typically specialize in weddings, I wanted to showcase many of my most recent weddings to give potential clients an idea of what I’m about. However, since I also do a lot of portrait work, I had to include some of the adorable families, engagements, and little ones in some of the cards as well! Presentation is everything to me and I want to be sure I’m sending the right message and want to be clear about the type of work I like to produce. I always want someone to choose me as their photographer, among other reasons, that they enjoy my art. I don’t want to change because I love my style and want to incorporate it into all of my sessions. Photography is incredibly personal to me and I want a little bit of “me” in the shot.
Adding Something a Little Special
I’m entirely unsure what I’ll use these magnets for, but I didn’t want to just let me original business card design go, because the gold elements are just too adorable to not include in something I use with my business! (I’m a big fan of gold!). I’m sure I’ll put these to good use, and how cool will these look on someone’s fridge? I don’t know about you, but if something goes into my purse, it sometimes doesn’t find its way back out until the yearly cleaning purge hits and I’m forced to remove all of my receipts. Maybe if I find someone like me, who is more likely to put a magnet on the fridge than keep up with a business card, they’ll be reminded they need an update on their photos and wont have to look far to find my info!
