Melinda and Jeremy – McConnell Springs Engagement
Melinda and Jeremy- McConnell Springs Engagement
When Melinda (Lynn) contacted me to ask about availability for her June 2017 wedding, I was nearly booked up, and had only her date available for weekends in June. The day after, I received another inquiry about the same date and came back to ask Lynn if she was still interested. She was so excited and booked her consultation with me immediately, and we got her in the books! After booking, another two inquiries came along, and I was shocked at how many June weddings there have been this year!
Rain, Rain, Go Away!
Anyway, I am so happy to have been chosen as this beautiful couple’s photographer, because they have so much genuine chemistry and fun. Their personalities match perfectly with mine, and I think this is a vital part of a couple’s wedding day. We planned out the day for her engagement session for the forest of McConnell Springs in Lexington, but Mother Nature had other plans. We tried to move the session around to different times of the day to try and avoid some showers, however, it just wasn’t possible. The weather was insane, and would pour for a few minutes straight, then the sun would come out, and then it would repeat! We hid them under an umbrella and continued shooting!
A Little Bit of Sunshine
In between, showers, we managed to get some beautiful photos! Lynn’s stunning red hair in the midst of all the forest green with Jeremy’s loving arms wrapped around her made for some adorable images, and I really believe their love SHINES through, (pun intended.) I can’t wait to be a part of their big day and see how amazing Melinda looks in white!
Congratulations to you both on your engagement!
