Mr. & Mrs. Shrum
I was honored and blessed to have been chosen to photograph the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Shrum. Last year, we had an engagement session together that I knew was just the beginning to their love story. The chemistry the two of them have together is beyond compare, and they’re well aware of just how lucky they are to have one another.
The decor followed along with the classy, rustic style that Four Star Catering and Events is renowned for providing. A little touch of pink and white really brought together the daintiness that encapsulated the wedding day.
Surrounding the bouquet was a unique surprise for the bride from her Maid of Honor, who makes these lovely bracelets. The wings were to signify some of the loved ones who were unable to attend the wedding, but got beautiful views from their seats in Heaven.
A Special Note
The bride wrote a special note to her groom and in turn, he wrote his own note on the back.
The preparation for the big event was so much fun to be a part of. The bridesmaids and groomsmen have the best sense of humor and were up for some cool poses that you’ll see later in the post. Cute little bags and other personalized gifts were adorable accents from the bride to her girls!
One More Gift
If it wasn’t already clear, the family, the couple, and everyone involved in the wedding are givers. They’re selfless and love to see the smiles on the faces of their loved ones. One last gift given before the ceremony included a gift for the bride herself from her groom!
The First Look
I’ll let the first look speak for itself. Grab some tissues before you see how the groom sees his stunning bride for the first time on their big day.
The Wedding Party
After the first look, we were able to knock out some of the wedding party photos before the ceremony.
Those Who Pray Together
I’ve always heard that those who pray together, stay together. The guests and wedding party are prime examples of that. Their faith binds them together in a spiritual love. Prayer was a big part of their big day.
The Big Moment
This is the moment little girls dream of–their very own fairy tale, and Rachel found her prince who always looks at her, knowing he will always treat her as the queen she truly is. This kind of love is so pure and it leans on their religion, that they both are so devoted to. We incorporated their beliefs into as much as we could including both their engagement photos and wedding.
You can feel just how much love is shared in their families just by looking at the faces of those closest to them. There was definitely no shortage of family members and loved ones who were there to support Rachel and Blake.
Cutting the Cake
I’m always anxious to see how a couple cuts and shares their cake. Will they share it, or will they WEAR it?
Dance the Night Away
After some dancing and fun, the evening settled down with some touching words from the Best Man and Maid of Honor, and Rachel Shrum was inducted as the newest member of “The Wolf Pack.”
Congratulations again to the happy couple! May God continue to bless you throughout the years to come!
